Visit Lake Como: The End of the II World War Museum in Dongo
Visit and discover Lake Como museums during the coldest season. The End of the II World War museum in Dongo has been recently renovated. Dongo is the place where Benito Mussolini and the fascist ministers of the RSI (Italian Social Republic) were captured on 27th April 1945. "Our Museum: a voice which tells to the future generations the importance of the events that took place in Dongo in April 1945. The last page of the WWII’s history was written here: the tragic tale of a war and a dictatorship which was responsible for the deprivation of the fundamental principles of Freedom."
